Now I'm sure this has been suggested already, just having the ability to change your characters blitheness mode in say the cosmetic shop when its launched would exist nice, so u don't have to restart the game to do so and in turn loose hours or days of progress. also something else that I'm sure they take plans of doing so. The ability to change your chars center colour, skin color and then on, basically be able to modify your chars appearance through means of the cosmetic shop.

I would honestly vouch for how Splatoon handles graphic symbol customization.
Aka, an pick to change your character at any time you wish.
If y'all get bored of beingness an Inkling Boy and want to be an Octoling Girl instead, you lot can practise it.
Or if you lot simply want to change hairstyles or peel and middle colors, you tin also practise that whatsoever time to wish.
Every time you lot use this selection, you go through the character creation procedure again and can change your graphic symbol freely without any drawbacks and every bit many times equally you desire.
If Temtem uses this option, I think Dress and hairstyles you bought and unlocked would be added to the choice.

Interesting idea.
Though it feels like an unnecessary extra stride, compared to just giving yous the option to re-brand your character any fourth dimension yous wish, a la Splatoon.
Just that's only me.

Splatoon is a favorite game of mine; I definitely agree with @Paragon-Yoshi's thoughts towards implementing something like this.
Although I as well see the benefits towards something like @Tao is maxim, to have something in-game to maybe add to the lore somehow. I'thou all virtually how things could be implemented into the in-game story ☺
At whatever rate, agreed. It would be nice to be able to redesign the default character without resetting because I know for me, I didn't realize until about 3 weeks in that I totally chose the wrong pair of pants. Whoops!

I'd like to see a number of fun and weird animations
Psychic: You float to run, and just kinda move things with your mind while idle
Ninja: Y'all naruto-run (you know the ane!) and do flips and stuff while idle
Boxer: You run... serious-like? And when idle you lot shadow-box.
Soldier: When idle, you enter a salute... and merely stand very very still.

Since your character is supposed to be a teen, I don't think some of these are going to work.
But I practise remember more animations and body types would exist a welcome addition.
In that other thread virtually "Assistive Items", I mentioned a Size-Option.
A unproblematic 1, like the one used in Nintendo's MII Creator.
That way, nosotros tin can cover a few dissimilar ages and character types, while still keeping the character immature.
And I also think more body types would exist welcome.
In fact, in an platonic world, I would divide it into 2 groups.
One is "Gender Body Blazon" (dunno how else to call it).
Which has the male person and female torso type options that we take at present.
Simply on top of that, it would be crawly to add a few more features to it.
Like Normal, Skinny, Fatty or Muscular.

Well, it isn't exactly supposed to be almost realism, just but having some goofy fun with information technology. Fun > Realism.
